Recovery is personal. Our Huntington Beach team takes time to understand your procedure, recovery stage and your surgeon’s instructions before determining whether a lymphatic session is appropriate.
Post-op care is not the same as Brazilian sculpting massage. Your comfort and medical guidance shape the pace, pressure and focus of the session. We do not promise a particular result or replace surgical follow-up care.

Before your first appointment
Obtain your surgeon’s approval and ask when you may begin lymphatic massage. Share relevant recovery instructions with our team before booking. Tell us about incisions, drains, medications, complications or any restrictions so we can assess whether we can accommodate you.
Suspected infection, a blood clot, unexplained swelling, fever, chest pain or shortness of breath needs medical evaluation—not massage. Never massage an area your surgeon has told you to avoid.
A thoughtful recovery routine
Your practitioner discusses your goals and uses an individualized, gentle approach where appropriate. Treatment does not include opening incisions, draining surgical wounds, or removing fluid through an incision. Continue your prescribed compression, medication and follow-up schedule unless your medical team advises otherwise.

Book an individual session first if you are unsure. Frequency should be guided by your surgeon, your recovery stage and your practitioner—not a fixed promise.
Post-Op Questions
When can I start after surgery?
Timing depends on your procedure, healing and surgeon’s instructions. Get medical approval before booking and contact us to discuss your needs.
How often should I book?
There is no single schedule for every recovery. We can discuss available sessions within the limits set by your surgeon; packages do not require a medically unnecessary schedule.
Will it be painful?
The approach should respect your recovery and comfort. Tell your practitioner immediately about pain or tenderness. We do not ask you to tolerate painful pressure.
Do you treat open incisions or perform wound drainage?
No. We do not open incisions, perform wound care or drain surgical wounds. Those services belong with your surgical or medical team.
